I've been a storyteller for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Kampala, I was surrounded by stories - my grandmother's folktales, the gossip at the market, the dramatic Nollywood films we watched, the sermons at church. I learned early that stories are how we make sense of the world.

**My Writing Journey:**

I started writing poetry at 14, using words to process a world that often felt confusing and overwhelming. By university, I was winning competitions and being published in literary magazines. Today, I've published in 3 anthologies, won national awards, and built a community of writers through the Kampala Writers' Collective.

**What I Write:**

I write about Africa. Not the Africa of stereotypes, but the Africa I know - complex, vibrant, contradictory, beautiful. I write about families navigating tradition and modernity. About lovers separated by borders. About people finding home in unexpected places. About the quiet moments of grace that sustain us.
