    Why Community Matters

    We can't always see our own blind spots. Honest, constructive feedback from peers helps us grow. My first writing workshop opened my eyes to perspectives I'd never considered.

    When you tell someone else about your project, you're more likely to follow through. The communal support holds you accountable.

    Surrounding yourself with creatives is inspiring. Their energy, ideas, and passion are contagious. I've found myself writing about topics I'd never considered before.

    Many of my best works are collaborations. Someone else's idea, my writing. Or vice versa. It's magic.
